Well, One Whole Day
By Paul | November 5, 2008
The election has been over for a day and I have already had two friendships end. One was a pretty modest one, not a great loss except that it ended with swearing, and angry emails and carrying on and that is never pleasant. The other was a 30 plus year friendship that ended because she believes everyone who voted for Obama has been deceived and our country is doomed.
It is interesting how for eight years we were expected to sit back and take the jokes and mocking emails and act like “it’s OK we will make it through this” and now, one day into a new president-elect, we are now at war with them. They could not endure for one day what we have endured for years. I fear it may be a very long four years, these folks who hate progressives are not going make this easy.
