Thanks Goodness – It’s Over!

I am writing this the morning of election day. My preferences for this election are easy to ascertain if you read this blog or look at some of the videos I have posted. By the way I have been told that posting videos doesn’t count as a blog entry so I will be more diligent about writing…:)
Tonight we have a new president. In years past I have made a practice of taking the bumper sticker off my car first thing in the morning on election day because I wanted to make the statement that whomever won, they were my President. I try to be a vigorous participant in the debate but once the election is concluded, and we, my fellow citizens, have made a decision, I stand with my President. That is not always easy, and I certainly have disagreed with a lot that my Presidents have done over the 40 some odd years I have been alive, but I am American.
Tonight or tomorrow, we will celebrate the most majestic event. The orderly selection of a new leader in the greatest country in the world.
I love this country!!!!
